Paul Taylor
Alliance for Better Campaigns
 
    Paul Taylor is the founder and director of The Alliance for Better Campaigns, a public interest group dedicated to improving the conduct and discourse of politics, especially on television.

Taylor was a newspaper reporter for 25 years, the last 14 at the Washington Post, where he covered national politics and social issues. He is the author of "See How They Run" a book about the 1988 presidential campaign, and co-author of "The Old News Versus the New News" about political journalism.

He left the Post in January, 1996 to found The Free TV for Straight Talk Coalition, a public interest group that advocated giving free broadcast air time to the Presidential candidates.
