Good News! Viewers in the markets where DISH Network offers a local channels package (List of Cities) can now watch your local PBS station(s). Where local PBS stations are available, the National Satellite Service is discontinued. Public television has always been, and will continue to be, a locally-based broadcasting service. Because of this, viewers are urged to subscribe to the local channels package to receive their local PBS station(s). PBS suggests that you determine your eligibility by logging onto DISH Network's web site at www.DISHNETWORK.com. If you find that you are eligible to receive your local channels, simply call 1-800-333-DISH for more information.

WAIVERS
There are no waivers available for viewers eligible to receive local channels and who wish to receive the National Feed. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions. Where local PBS station(s) are available, the National Satellite Service is discontinued. To determine your local station(s) program schedule, simply visit TV Schedules and enter your zip code.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
If you receive local signals through DISH Network, you may not be receiving all of your local broadcast stations and you are entitled to an ABSOLUTELY FREE second dish (including installation.) In order to receive every local station that you are entitled to, including all public television stations, you need to call DISH Network at 1-800-333-DISH to request a second dish. This dish should be provided ABSOLUTELY FREE, including installation. PBS encourages every subscriber to local channels to call to request this free service to maximize the value of their local channels package to be able to view all the public television stations in your market.
