Special Initiatives

Special Initiatives are those projects that PBS and the PBS Foundation deem as important, but do not fall neatly into one of Program Venture Fund categories. Initiatives include programming and content, but also encompass much more. Past initiatives have included the Digital Future Initiative (DFI), which sought the advice of some of our countries most forward thinkers on how to bring PBS into the digital era.
