The PBS Foundation's Program Venture Funds are platform-neutral investments that help transform PBS from a public broadcasting system to a public service media organization.
Program Venture Funds are genre-specific pools of money for programming and content. The Foundation ensures that these funds are "platform-neutral," meaning they can be used for content across all technologies – on-air, online, digital, streaming, mobile, downloadable, on-demand and via whatever technologies come along next.
