companion book

The Season Three companion volume, Art:21—Art in the Twenty First Century 3, mirrors the unique strengths of the PBS television series by featuring the profiled artists directly and in their own words. Featuring excerpts of the 18 profiled artists’ conversations with Executive Producer Susan Sollins, the book also includes an introductory essay by Susan Sollins as well as artist biographies and full-color spreads of production stills from the series showing the artists at work. The artists’ reflections on their processes and inspirations are juxtaposed dynamically with images of their work (over 700 illustrations). Published by the distinguished art book publisher Harry N. Abrams, Inc.
