Olafur Eliasson’s Waterfalls

Olafur Eliasson talks about his Waterfalls project. The piece is part of the New York Public Art Fund.

The Waterfalls are built using scafolding, a recognizable and fitting material found readily in New York City. The placement of the falls reflects NYC as a whole and evokes temporal feelings from the viewer.

The interview took place on May 21, 2008 for the documentary The Waterfalls: Making Public Art.
