Prague, Czech Republic/Budapest, Hungary. November 15th, 17th, 1996

I had visited Prague and Budapest in 1990, just as the Berlin Wall was coming down, and had been there in the early moments of Western influence. So that memory of the newly Westernized culture stuck with me as a theme as I began work on this poster. Instead of these dutiful workers in factories, the people depicted here are dutiful consumers, gobbling up the unhealthy, mass-produced fast food. – Ward Sutton
