Joe Torre talks about his experiences as a manager.
"Now this was a scary series for me, 'cause we had manhandled Baltimore all year. If I'm not mistaken we won every single game that we played in Baltimore. Now we have to play them again. And it just doesn't feel good. It just doesn't feel good 'cause the players are a little bit different. We wind up winning the first three out of four games. Now it's game five; it's a Sunday. And we have a lead. We have a lead. Cal Ripken's up with two out in the ninth inning, hits a ground ball to short. Jeter gets it, throws it to Tino. Tino scoops it, jumps up in the air. I'm cryin' like a baby."
