Tom Verducci talks about how 1994 will be an empty year for baseball history books
"The result was the fans lost I mean we all lost. I mean you look back on the on the record book now and you see this Grand Canyon of a gap there in 1994 with no World Series. And certainly it's a talking point for future generations for a ten year old kid to look there and say, hey dad, or hey grandpa, what happened in 1994? And he's gonna tell them the story about these greedy owners and spoiled players how they canceled the World Series they couldn't because they couldn't agree on the simplest things. That they thought they were bigger than the World Series. And that's really sad. It's a shame."
