"You know you could talk about the average baseball player earning two point nine million dollars or Alex Rodriguez earning twenty-nine million dollars a year. But Michael Jordan earned thirty-four million dollars in basketball in 1998. And there are movie stars who get thirty million dollars for making a movie plus residuals that go in perpetuity for decades and decades. And there are CEOs of corporations that go bust that make thirty, forty, fifty million dollars in stock options of a lot more. So we're in a society that has kind of many winner take all elements. And we're in a society where there a lot of rich people, disgustingly rich people. People I think get the fans get used to that. I think a lot of us are anesthetized to it. And so we accept baseball by and large."
