Phase 1: Planning and Research

Deliverables

Steps

  1. Break into groups of three to four students as assigned by your instructor. Select a leader who will be in charge of group discussions and keeping track of the work you accomplish both individually and as a group.
  2. Discuss potential themes of your project.
  3. Decide upon a final theme.
  4. Use the resources provided below to research your theme.
  5. Select as many as ten pieces of evidence that support your thematic focus.
  6. Find detailed information that describes your evidence and its connection to your theme.

Phase 2: Design and Presentation

Deliverables

  1. Final memorial product
  2. Descriptions of the evidence
  3. Final presentation

  2. Create the memorial using appropriate materials.
  3. Write the evidence descriptions.
  4. Organize the final product.
  5. Determine how your group will present your project.
