About the Artifact Challenge
In order to learn more about how people lived in the past, archaeologists study objects that have been left behind.
In Beringia, these artifacts are often found lying on the dunes, as sand is blown away to expose previously buried treasures. For the Artifact Challenge, you will assume the role of archaeologist. Pretend you are walking along the dunes in Cape Espenberg when you encounter each of the following objects. What are they? What are they made of? How were they used?
