If your class has registered to take part in the March 10th PBS Electronic Field Trip, "Arctic World: A Rich Mosaic of Micro-Environments," then embark on your journey by entering the special Web site for registered classrooms. You will need the password provided to you when you registered. If you did not receive a password, please call 1-800-278-4176.

If your class has registered to take part in the March 11th PBS Electronic Field Trip,"Arctic Journey: In the Footsteps of our Ancestors," then embark on your journey by entering the special Web site for registered classrooms. You will need the password provided to you when you registered. If you did not receive a password, please call 1-800-278-4176.

If you haven't yet registered, there is still time. This Web site offers a taste of the Arctic Journey Electronic Field Trips, but registered classrooms also receive the following:

  • Teacher's kit with complete lesson plans and follow-up activities
  • Access to password-protected Web site with extensive learning journeys and resources such as a glossary and maps
  • Opportunity for your class to interact with the experts both online and as part of the television broadcast
  • Chance to publish your class work on the Arctic Journey Web site
  • Satellite coordinates for schools with satellite dishes
  • Rights to tape the program off-air and use in the classroom for at least one year from the date of original broadcast
