Joel Dreyfuss is a senior editor at Fortune Magazine. Prior to joining Fortune, he served as the editor-in-chief of Our World News, a start-up national weekly which operated a news site on the Internet. He also spent two-and-a-half years as the editor-in-chief and associate publisher/editorial director of Information Week, nearly three years as the editor of PC Magazine, and briefly served as managing editor of Business Tokyo, a publication aimed at Americans doing business in the Japanese market.
Mr. Dreyfuss's freelance articles have appeared in The New York Times Magazine and Book Review, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, among other national publications. Dreyfuss has also worked as a television news writer and producer. Mr. Dreyfuss is a co-founder of the National Association of Black Journalists. A native of Haiti, he currently lives in New York City and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from the City College of the City of New York.
