Alexis Scott Reeves




Alexis Scott Reeves is publisher of The Atlanta Daily World, a newspaper founded by her grandfather, William Alexander Scott II, in 1928. She is responsible for the overall editorial content and general management of the paper which targets the African American community in metro Atlanta. Ms. Reeves joined the newspaper on April 28, 1997, as business manager, following a 22-year career with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Cox Enterprises, Inc.

A native of Atlanta, Alexis Reeves is a graduate of Barnard College in New York City and Spelman College in Atlanta.
