Elizabeth Taylor-Mead recently returned to American public television after 15 years as founding partner and general manager of Metropolis Pictures Ltd. in London. Her British work, for both the BBC and Channel Four, includes My Momma Done Told Me - "a personal view of women, passion, and torch songs" - and a behind-the-scenes look at the Jim Henson magic, Of Muppets and Men. Since returning to the U.S. in 1989, Elizabeth has been an associate producer for The Hermitage, for the Monitor Channel and Danny Wilson Productions, and an archivist for The Longbow Group's The Gate of Heavenly Peace, a brilliant and controversial documentary film about Chinese orphanages.
