Joseph Gerena
Project Coordinator
As project coordinator for the BreakThrough education and outreach initiative, Joe Gerena's responsibilities included coordinating research for the 800 number resource line and for the BreakThrough Web site. In addition, he serves as liaison between Blackside and partnering public television stations, outreach advisors, and national and local institutions active in science education. He is also project coordinator for The Civil Rights Project, Inc. (CRPI), Blackside's non-profit partner. Gerena has a Bachelor's of Science degree from Boston University's College of Communication.
