Jim Woodell
New Media Coordinator
Jim Woodell has over ten years of experience in the planning, development, and evaluation of educational television and interactive media. He currently heads his own consulting practice, Context Media, and works with a variety of organizations on the development of interactive services for the World Wide Web, CD-ROM, voice systems, and fax-on-demand. For the BreakThrough outreach initiative, Woodell serves as information designer and content developer for BreakThrough Online and 1-800 BIG BREAK. Other past and current experiences include development and coordination of interactive videoconferences for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the design and delivery of technology planning and integration workshops for teachers and school administrators.Jim holds a B.S. in Electronic Media from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public communications at Syracuse University and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
