RIAA take a break? No way, they'll go down swinging at the pinata hoping to get more free candy.

There will never be a successful DRM implementation. Someone will hack it. Witness the recent developments regarding Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. Every one that has faced the public has been circumvented. Eric Raymond's comment on eyeballs will stand the test of time.
