Ted NelsonThis isn't a link, but rather a story about Ted Nelson, who is a friend of mine. For all his fabulous ideas, Ted never really had much material success until the last few years. Oh, he lived comfortably on a very small houseboat in Sausalito, but the big bucks from hypertext never went through Ted's wallet. What changed? Ted registered and later sold the Internet domain "bank.com." Sheesh.
