#309-“San Francisco and Napa-Great Food-Great Wine”
Location: Napa Valley-Beringer/Stags’ Leap-San Francisco-Gary Danko restaurant

There’s no other culinary city like San Francisco, and we’ve got the inside track to one of its best restaurants, Gary Danko. We’ll take you behind the scene of what some call the city’s finest. Meantime, in the neighboring Napa Valley, when you talk about classic wine estates, you have to talk about Beringer. The oldest continually operating winery in the U.S., Beringer has been producing great wine for more than 100-years. There’s plenty of history at the Stags’ Leap Winery too, along with stunning wine. We’ll showcase both wineries and give you a sense of what makes Napa wine so wonderful and the Napa Valley such a special place.

#310-“Hong Kong-Heaven for Foodies ”
Location: Hong Kong

Much has been speculated about the demise of Hong Kong, now that it’s under Chinese rule, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Hong Kong remains as vital as ever, and nowhere is that more evident than in its food scene. This show takes viewers right to the source of Hong Kong’s cuisine-the seafood and produce markets. You’ve seen markets before, but believe me, you’ve never seen anything like this.
We’ll also start our day with the traditional Hong Kong Yum Cha breakfast, visit some of the city’s best restaurants, and anchor our stay at one of Hong Kong’s finest hotels, the J.W. Marriott. It’s a culinary slice of Hong Kong you won’t want to miss.

#311-‘Napa’s Finest”
Location: Napa Valley-Far Niente-Meadowood

With nearly 300 wine labels now listing Napa Valley as their home, it’s tough to keep track of them all. But, for some 20-years, one of the wineries you could always count on was Far Niente. Producers of some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in California and the world, Far Niente is a spectacular wine estate, housed in a restored 1800’s stone winery and featuring some of the most breathtaking landscaping you will find. We’ll highlight it all and even give you some food and wine pairing tips.
Then, it’s off to Meadowood, one of Napa Valley’s finest resorts. From the accommodations, to the golfing, to the food and wine, Meadowood, is good at what it does, not to mention drop-dead gorgeous. Two of Napa Valley’s finest in one great show.

#312-“Australia’s Coolest City and Coolest Winery”
Location: Australia-Banrock Station/Melbourne

Sydney gets most of the attention, but for my money, give me Melbourne, which is exactly what we’re going to do for viewers. Melbourne’s a great city with incredible restaurants and one of the best markets anywhere, the Queen Victory Market. We’ll shine our culinary spotlight on some of Melbourne’s finest eateries and take a tour through the memorable and mouthwatering Queen Victoria Market. Meantime, hours from any city of size, in the heart of the Riverlands Region, you’ll find Banrock Station winery, and what you’ll find at Banrock Station is unforgettable. Housed in a restored wetlands area, Banrock Station is dedicated to the environment, donating proceeds from the sale of each bottle of wine to environmental causes throughout Australia. We’ll highlight the winery, its wines, and we'll do a little food and wine matching with one of the country’s most talented chefs, Andrew Fielke.
