After several months of stressing over internship applications and hoping I would hear back before the summer started, I received a call from one of my top picks: PBS. I was super excited to finally get an internship with a recognizable company and to learn more about how PBS operates from the inside. Growing up watching MASTERPIECE , I could not wait to see how everything came together and how Development Services supported PBS member stations. Book Donation Individual Giving Opportunity through First Book

In support of The Great American Read and PBS member stations’ ongoing efforts to prepare young children for success in school and life, PBS KIDS has worked with First Book, a national non-profit dedicated to providing high quality books and educational resources to low income children, to design a PBS KIDS Read book purchase and donation program stations can activate through their local fundraising activities.
