Hatshepsut portrayed as female

This statue of Hatshepsut is thought to have been from the queen's own chapel in the uppermost court. Although it shows her in all the trappings of a pharaoh, no attempt is made to conceal her feminine figure and appearance - something that was concealed in other portraits of her.
