I think you have a very interesting idea. A program highlighting people who are working through health issues and their experiences and solutions to finding how to make the health system work would be educational. Patients need to be their own advocate. I would also like a program taking people with the same problem, say breast cancer, in different countries and see how they fair within the USA vs. England, Canada, Sweden, etc. where they have universal health care. Knowing what problems arise in other systems would give us a better understanding of why our system with all it's faults is still better in most cases. Good luck to you and your wife!
