Today BLM Robert Abbey and DOI Ken Salazar present a push to bypass S 1579 ROAM with a lame attempt to appease wild horse advocates. You can find the Press Release and Accompanying letter from Ken Salazar to Harry Reid on thecloudfoundaaation.org (with notable exclusion from the cc list of Landrieu and Grijalva). Though, in my opinion, not all of the details are wholly worth throwing out, they are few and far between. I ask them: Why create new preserves when you won't disclose to the American People where the current preserves are located? Why not return the over 10 million acres to the wild horse already legislated to them? On The Cloud Foundation site blog you will also find a preview of an investigative report to air this Sunday.
