I think it was great to hear thatJim Lehrer was recovering very well from his heart surgery. It is important to remember the NewsHour also has a stellar casting of the best journalists you will find in this country, who have been delivering high quality reporting and continue to do so. It also appeared that Jim's role in the newscast has changed as he primary serves in a limited reporting capacity. There will come a day when Jim will retire, so we should appreciate his past and current contributions but even ironman Cal Ripken eventually left the game. Viewers should feel fortunate to have Judy Woodruff, Ray Suarez, Margaret Warner, Gwen Ifill and Jeffrey Brown, along with your exceptional field correspondents, deliver such high quality news content.
