The piece on the 100 year history gap.
Mr. Suarez: I always look forward to the program and each of you are good interviewers. Last night I was disappointed over the downsizing on the Jamestown experience. Why is it that the Puritans are seen as the founders of the English experience? As you said, the South lost the "war." That lost was a good thing for the whole nation, but should it cloud all of the American history? It was the Virginia colonists 160 years later who came up with separtation of church and state and personal, conscious freedom. Mass. was years behind. Madison and Jefferson were sons of the Jamestown experience. Thank you for allowing me to write this to you. You are always so fair and insightful. However, this time . . . Yours, Robert Boggs
