"Five Good Answers" from Tavis Smiley
Tavis Smiley is a radio show host, a television show host, a video blogger, a micro-blogger, an author, and a philanthropist.
Tavis Smiley is constantly connecting with his audiences in one way or another. So it was no surprise that we asked him to participate in our "Five Good Questions" series.
Between his nightly television show on PBS, his radio show, and the many other projects Tavis has going on, we truly appreciate Tavis taking the time to answer a few questions. (Got more questions for Tavis? You can ask him on his site).
Watch him address the issues you inquired about, then feel free to discuss in the comments.
1. How do you reconcile the fact that the lines between journalist, pundit and partisan continue to blend? Do you think that the media's credibility has been diminished? Matt
2. You've worked across an incredibly broad range of media - from print to TV to the Web. What is your favorite forum to work in? What is the most challenging? Matt

Answer on Question #1
Hi Tavis. I've honestly never heard of you, I guess because I live in Canada. Based on your thoughtful answer to q#1 I can see why you have the success you do. Most people out there can judge a persons moral compass. Sounds like you are a good person and you have the great career because of that. It really is clear when you speak. People can trust what you are telling them. Thats a valuable trait I would say. Cheers.
