Super Wednesday

The votes from the big day are in - but there's still no clear winner in the race for the Democratic nomination, and while McCain saw a surge on the GOP side, that is hardly a lock-in, either. What does this mean? For one, at least a few more weeks of speculation and some extra time for all those online projects about the primaries to remain relevant.

Some of the user comments plucked from the web yesterday:

From Politweets, a site tracking Twitter updates about the election, dividing the page between democrats and republicans.

- "wow, it looks like Edwards withdrawal may have been too late for Obama in California. - @gwachob

- "Looks like Ron Paul even made a good showing! - @MelanieDJ

- "It's a nice change to be so excited about an election. Gotta feel good for McCain after what he underwent in 2000. - @griner

If you missed any of the liveblogging/twittering action, TechPresident had a recast of its Super Tuesday blog.

And NPR's Twitter feed included photos of the studio newsroom and comments on everything from who was winning to the potency of chocolate-covered espresso beans.
