Five Good Questions for Antiques Roadshow host Mark L. Walberg

This edition of Five Good Questions is dedicated to the 11 million people who tune into Antiques Roadshow every week.

The highest-rated series on PBS, Antiques Roadshow is now in its twelfth season. As host, Mark L. Walberg tours the country with the Roadshow appraisers, who determine the value of objects Americans present to them, from family heirlooms to recent yard-sale finds. You can see a behind-the-scenes video of a Roadshow event here.

No newbie to television, Walberg has worked in the industry for 20 years, both in front of the camera as a show host and, more recently, behind the lens as a producer.

In addition to Walberg's work on Antiques Roadshow, he dedicates time to improving the lives of young people in his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill of Southern California and collaborates with The Young Americans, a musical performance youth group that offers music workshops in underserved schools. more
