Illegal immigration
I saw your dis-information about Mexican Immigration today on cnn. I am a 10th generation Chicano-Californian. My ancestors convened the California Constitution. I serve my Wonderful state as a Doctor. A few distinctions; every country has guest worker programs, they work; Diversity means that there are people from 200+ countries who are over-qualified to immigrate but can't ,simply because there are quotas and they are doing it through the front door. For instance ,California has a deficiency of 20,000 doctors but a quota of only 32 per year from Germany can immigrate. We should have the right to screen each immigrant for our needs. We love our Mexican neighbors in general, truly personable and wonderful, however, my grandmother taught me that it would be very poor manners to force yourself into someones house uninvited and have an anchor baby. That is an abuse of our culture and rules of behavior and laws.Mexico has a population problem that is like a runaway train-they are trying to export it here. The 1986 Amnesty program was a complete disaster- so why should we believe this one will work? Come to Orange County to see for yourself. My kids now go to schools with violent mexican drug gangs that are 99% mexican. That is NOT immigration reform that is Mexican culture dominating California's. We Californians don't need more Mexicans . We already have a great culture and even did when we expelled them in 1850. We respect, love and wish to preserve Mexican culture and if they respect us they may show it by wishing us the same. What you are doing is wrong. You should change your ways and be authentic with yourself and us. Maybe you just identify yourself with being Hispanic, but identity itself is an illusion of the mind and ego. Love and respect EVERYONE! Yes, that is right, even us lowly unfair Californians. Get it? It is not about La Raza, it is about Culture.
