Two documentaries I've seen recently that I highly recommend:

1) Beautiful Losers - about a group of punks, skateboarders, graffiti artists, etc who came together and started making art in the early 90s in NY's Lower East Side. Very insightful treatment of how artists grow/evolve, and the importance of community to creativity -- plus lots of fabulous eye candy

2) Enlighten Up - interesting examination of yoga: what it is, its allure, its inconsistencies. The filmmaker loves yoga and tries to get a skeptic to love yoga, too - they travel the world meeting gurus, and searching for answers...
