How to get capital needed for new enterprises

I have lived in more than one Muslim country and concluded that the ban on collecting interest on money severely limits growth of the capital funds needed for successful enterprises. One conceivable way to get around that difficulty is to use the 'charity' contribution required by Muslim doctrine as a substitute for the needed enterprise capital, always adhering to the charity requirement.
