WITF's IT'S MY LIFE
WITF, the PBS and NPR affiliate in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has begun a new online programming initiative, dubbed It's My Life!, focused on education and career choices from college preparation to work. The online website engages parents, teachers and middle to high school students in the following ways:
-Connects them with experts in the field of higher education, career counseling and civic life.
-Provides users with a direct link to businesses and industries offering career opportunities in Central PA outside of the 4-year university path.
-Broadens the horizons of youth in our area through an international affairs website that will connect them to the youth around the world.
-Promotes dialogue and debate among the community at large.
-Supports discussions among educators of important issues facing schools in our region.

Are there any Green initiatives involved with this program?

Are there laws or policies in place regarding "sexting". I am curious to know what schools have researched and implemented these sort of laws. I realize that this is a relatively new issue but it is linked to all of the social software that is available and what laws are in place to protect our children. Is this simply a parenting issue or is it a community issue.

That's true, online website engages parents, teachers and students. I agree with so much that's been mentioned, but I would like to add that such mode of learning is very interactive and it engages students on their own willingness.
