Film Your Issue challenged young filmmakers to develop two-minute narratives on the issues most important to them. The winning entries are creative "mini-movies" dealing with topics ranging from post-Katrina New Orleans to rising high school dropout rates.

NewsTrust is a nonprofit news review site promoting quality journalism. Citizen reviewers can submit and rate news and opinion pieces based on core principles of journalism, such as fairness, evidence, sourcing and context.

The NBPC New Media Institute

The New Media Institute is a virtual workshop series that aims to increase online authorship by producers of color. Through hands-on training, the NMI teaches media-makers how to incorporate interactive and user-generated components. NMI further encourages the connecting of diverse communities with public media and with each other.
