John Barricelli, a former "Everyday Food" co-host, is the host of "Everyday Baking from Everyday Food," a half-hour weekly program that debuted on PBS in January 2008. The show features easy and delicious baking recipes for cookies, cakes, pies, tarts and more — all from the pages of Everyday Food magazine.
John began his professional cooking career 28 years ago at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. He owned and operated Cousin John's Café and Bakery in New York City for 10 years. Prior to that, he worked at such renowned New York City restaurants as The River Café and the Four Seasons Restaurant. In 1998, John joined Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as a commissary chef at the company's Westport studio. He went on to write for Martha Stewart Living magazine and was a contributor to Martha Stewart's Baking Handbook. In 2000, he began working with Martha Stewart on her television cooking segments.
John is the owner of The SoNo Baking Company and Café in historic South Norwalk, CT, which is also the subject of his forthcoming baking book.
