An aging farmer escapes his dreary retirement home and finds himself back at his boyhood farm. Looking out from the loft of his decrepit barn, he is inundated with memories of a day in 1927 when the Great Flood reshaped his world forever.

About the Filmmaker

Daniel Houghton teaches film production and animation at Middlebury College in Vermont. He is currently working on his next animated short film about two paper people who meet in a magical city built out of paper and share an afternoon together before their paper world (the recycling bin) is literally turned upside down.
