Looking for a last minute cocktail to go with your Thanksgiving feast?
Why not try this delicious apple cider sangria? It’s crisp, light and refreshing, and absolutely perfect as a pre-dinner cocktail….you know, while you’re still making the gravy and pulling the rolls out of the oven.
I like to use Moscato wine here, which is a light, semi-sweet white varietal. Many sangrias use red wine, but I love the light, crisp flavor that using white wine lends. If you can’t find Moscato, feel free to use any dry white wine.
And lastly — my secret sangria ingredient: ginger ale. It “makes” sangria complete, in my opinion, by adding just a bit of bubbly fizz and sweetness.

- 1 ½ cups apple cider

- Serve sangria over ice with thinly sliced or chopped apples.
