I have my own Meyer lemon tree as well. What I do is guess by thinking about the size of an average grocery store lemon. That mental image of the standard gives me a good guess. Recipes aren't supposed to be perfect anyway. Just close enough is good enough.

Also, I always use bottled water in my bread making....chlorine can mess up your yeast.

It seems like it will be really stiff but it turns out very fluffy and wonderful. Try using the original recipe next time and see how you like it! I used fresh strawberries for mine and it is so good. I think it's better than the blueberries. :) Happy baking!

This recipe is calling for 4 tsp. baking powder. Really? or is this a misprint. I hesitate to make it either with 4 tsps. or only 2 tsps. One way or another I ruin the cupcakes.
