I grew up in Kinston. Her restaurant and Mother Earth Brewery are the only hope for downtown Kinston. So glad that she came back home to Deep Run.

Hi Bruce: PBS member stations determine their schedules independently, so not all stations will air the show at the same time and date. Season 3 began airing in early September, but some stations may have shown the season premiere later than that timeframe. Please reach out to your individual PBS station if you want them to add the show to their schedules.

Hi Mandy, are you referring to chestnut flour? That's actually one I have never cooked with so I really can't say… though I do love chestnuts! We did make a version of this cake with a mix of almond and spelt flours instead of wheat. It was on the heavy side, but still delicious. If you do make it, let me know how it turns out, I'd be curious
