I loved Chef Brock but why was April Bloomfield on there? She was so annoying and didn't let her guests talk at all. I had to stop watching. Too bad..I really loved the season one and watching Chef Brock was my favorite.

it's not possible for this recipe to reduce by half; if you start with 3 cups of mayonnaise, your end product will be at least 3 cups. is this a typo? if so, which is the typo? the yield or the "cup"?

Your cake looks amazing and I'm sure it tastes so as well :) I only wanted to add something about baking powder - it always has to be fresh. Not long ago, I've found a nice trick to check its freshness. You just need to add a teaspoon of it to a glass of water and check if it fizzes. 'Whole milk yogurt is not as bad as I think it is.' My husband in response to my preemptive defense of the recipe. Salad is delicious. Will add steamed green beans in a few days when our crop is ready. Yum!

Enjoyed this recipe.... didn't use the brown sugar due to dietary issues and used smoked turkey with a little vegetable oil and it was very good! Not quite how my mother from Georgia use to make but pretty darn good! Thanks!
