Strawberry Honey Smash: Your Go-To Summer Cocktail

Strawberry Honey Smash

This is a fun and refreshing summer cocktail that’s perfect for casual get-togethers with friends…outside, of course! I wasn’t sure that the flavor of honey and strawberry would go, but it worked perfectly. Everything about this drink says summer to me!

Strawberry Honey Smash

We used vodka in our cocktail, but I think tequila might also be a fun option! You can find honey liqueur at most liquor stores — it also makes a mean hot toddy.

You could also try blackberries instead of strawberries! Just make sure they are super ripe and sweet. A sugared rim makes this cocktail complete and if you happen to have a kitchen blow torch laying around, you can use it to carefully caramelize the sugar on the rim of the glass.
