Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie

- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 of a banana
- 1 to 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
- Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.
Tips/TechniquesFlaxseed is a small seed that resembles a sesame seed. You can use it in a variety of ways — but it must be milled or ground for the nutrients to be released. You can buy ground flax seeds. It is best to store them in the refrigerator. If you’re not used to eating flax, start with a small amount and work up to a couple of tablespoon.
