Editor's Note: Dale DeGroff, a former bartender for New York City’s Rainbow Room and the author of The Craft of the Cocktail, recommended drinks for Real Simple and offered some insight for each.
“It’s a limeade for adults,” says DeGroff. “What you need is fresh lime juice. but you don’t need to muddle the limes. Not that you can’t if you want to, but that’s not the tradition in Cuba, where the drink [was popularized].”
