Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Directions

  1. To make simple syrup, simmer 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup granulated sugar in a saucepan, without stirring, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for up to several weeks.
