Mr. Raclin was graduated in 1962 from Culver Military Academy, Culver, Indiana, and was graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, receiving his B.A. in 1966. From 1966 to 1969 he served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, where he received various Vietnamese conflict and service decorations. In 1995, he earned an M.A. from Northwestern University.
Mr. Raclin has served as a director of the Hospice of the Golden Isles Foundation, as Treasurer and a director of the Sea Island Property Owners Association, as a director of the St. Simons Land Trust, as Chairman of The Bond Club of Chicago, President of the Attic Club of Chicago, Chairman of the regional board of governors of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), and as Vice Chairman of the Palliative Care Center of The North Shore. He currently serves as President of the Coastal Georgia Historical Society (St. Simons Island, GA) and Chairman of EMMI Solutions, LLC, a privately held health care information technology company in Chicago.
