Mount Vernon, December 18 1785.
Sir,
If no opportunity more direct & better should offer to
send the Bal[an]ce which is due from you to me, I should be
glad if it was paid to Doct[o]r David Stuart a Delegate in
Assembly at Richmond from this County and who I am sure would
readily oblige me by bringing it up. The money would come
very seasonably at this time – with esteem I am –
