"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." MARK TWAIN

How Do You Imagine God?
God in America and USA WEEKEND Magazine are partnering to explore Americans' images of God.

How do you imagine God? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I imagine God as the great creator of the universe. I see God as no being, no gender. To refer to god as he brings God down to our small level. It is easy to see God, just look up in the night sky and everywhere you look is God. God the creator or creators has sent us on our journy with all the rest of the universe which we can neither see or comprehend.

My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I believe that there is creation. The idea of creation and the creator / creators, is way beyond the grasp of mankind. We have created God in our own image. The God we have created would not be able to set forth the universe because our God would not have the power to do so. The fact that we have even set God to text as in the bible and other holy books, surely is blasphemy. The universe does not revolve around such a small insingificant speck of dust that we refer to as mankind. And for us to think that we can pen the rules of God demonstrates how small our minds really are.

What should be the role of religion in politics? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator The concept of politics is finite and tangible. Should courses about religion be taught in public schools?
