Faithbook BobbieGod is infinite, absolute good, spirit; unlimited all powerful Love. Any idea which contradicts this is a lie, an illusion. (that includes eternal damnation which is not consistent with Jesus’ teachings about forgiveness)
Jesus is not God, he is the Son of God, the Way-shower, sent as a man to show men how to live and reveal the ever-present healing Christ. (As seen earlier for Elijah and Elisha.)
Jesus Christ promised that whoever believed in him would do his works and more, “because I go unto me Father.”
Gen 1 shows man created in God’s image, male and female. Hence, God is Father-Mother. Male and female are both of God.
Gen 2 is a useful allegory, a fable, as indicated by the talking serpent and the various holes in a tale not meant to be taken literally. (If Adam and Eve were the first humans , where did Cain find a wife from the land of Nod.) Talking animals are characteristic of fables or allegories told to make a point: Listen to God, obey God, live a good life. Disobeying God means relinquishing God’s blessings, thereby experiencing evil—unforeseen consequences.
