My Beliefs

I believe ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I believe in Jesus (yet I am Jewish)
My most powerful moment of belief was ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Haifa, Israel, November 15th, 1992. That was the day I went from being an atheist to a believer in Jesus over the course of about three hours. Who would have a thought a Jewish kid goes to Israel comes back a believer in Jesus?
The tenet/practice/teaching I appreciate most about my faith is ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Grace - nothing even compares

My Faith History

As a child I believed ... your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator I was raised Jewish, loved the holidays and traditions, but it didn't have much to do with God for me

How I Practice My Faith

Does your family practice more than one religion or faith? If so, how do you blend the traditions? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator Both my wife and I are Jewish in terms of culture and traditions, and we feel strongly that we want to raise our kids Jewish. Yet, we both believe in Jesus, and are pastors at our local church, so we are very involved with Christian community. We try to help our kids celebrate culture and traditions, that they might embrace their heritage. Yet how they understand the Torah and Bible is not dictated by Judaism. We teach them to connect to God and we teach them the Bible.
How easy or difficult is it to live your faith? Why? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator It can be tricky, because people don't believe you can be Jewish and believe in Jesus. Or that a pastor at a church can actually feel uncomfortable in a church culture. Its funny as a pastor, for us the most difficult time is the holidays. Christmas time really makes me like a fish out of water.

Religion & the Public Square

Should the Bible, Torah, Quran or other religious texts be taught as works of literature in public schools? Why or why not? your photo/ link/ video has been held for approval by a moderator absolutely! They are the most significant pieces of literature in history. How can you overlook the most widely translated, distributed and influential books?
